JSJ Panama 2026

The excitement continues to travel across the country. The torch of the 2026 South American Youth Games arrived in Bocas del Toro, carrying with it a message of national pride to every corner, in a visit that was… on another level.

Coming from the province of Chiriquí, the flame entered Bocas del Toro on March 28, in a journey full of enthusiasm for young people. Three young athletes from the region were the protagonists of the relay: Arielys Romero, who will represent Panama in table tennis; Petter Guerra, aiming for the gold medal in boxing; and Diaylenis Díaz, who will look to stand out in judo.

The passage of the torch not only marked a special moment for these athletes, but also ignited the hopes of an entire province dreaming of seeing its talents shine in the competition. Anton was present throughout the entire route in the province of Tortuguera, and “A Otro Nivel” accompanied this journey, reinforcing the commitment and motivation of Panamanian athletes as they prepare to give their all at home.

Different provinces are now getting ready to receive the flame, which seeks to strengthen the sporting spirit and identity of a generation preparing to make history. The journey will now continue to the Ngäbe-Buglé comarca, adding more kilometers of inspiration along its path

All eyes are set on April 12, 2026, the day the cauldron will officially be lit at the Rommel Fernández Stadium, a venue rich in national sports history. There, a new chapter will begin for South American youth, with Panama as the epicenter of dreams, talent, and passion.
