
A few days before the start of the South American Youth Games, the Olympic Committee made the official presentation of the Panamanian Delegation that will participate in the IV South American Youth Games Panama 2026.
Team Panama will have the participation of a total of 247 athletes distributed in 23 sports disciplines, 32 modalities and 160 events, 81 coaches, 23 interdisciplinary teams, 7 communication team members and 4 heads of mission.
Those in charge of carrying the national flag are Dessire Frías from Karate and Raúl Antadillas from Swimming.
The sports that will be in the IV South American Games are Chess, Athletics, Badminton, 3×3 Basketball, Baseball, Boxing, Fencing, Tennis, Golf, Judo, Karate, Weightlifting, Flag Football, Archery, Taekwondo, Gymnastics, Triathlon, Swimming, Surf, Soccer, Table Tennis, Cycling, Wrestling and Futsal.
The venues where each sport will be played are Ciudad Deportiva Irving Saladino, Tierra de Campeones Atheyna Bylon Gymnasium, Fred Maduro Tennis Complex, Roberto Durán Arena, Playa Venao, ITSE and Panama Golf Club.
The Opening Ceremony will be on April 12 at Rommel Fernández Stadium and the Closing Ceremony will be on April 25 at Roberto Durán Arena. All tickets to the sports are free and you can access Panatickets to acquire your ticket.
The South American Youth Games Panama 2026 will take place from April 12 to 25 in Panama City, the biggest sporting event in the country is already ready to welcome on home soil more than 2,000 athletes from 15 countries of the Central America, the Caribbean and South America region.
