Paraguay took a significant step on its journey toward the Panama 2026 South American Youth Games by completing the Delegation Registration Meeting (DRM), a key part of the organizing committee’s pre-competition process.
The meeting took place at the South American Village, located in the Megapolis Hotel in Panama City. The Paraguayan delegation underwent the registration process at 2:00 p.m. (local time) during an extensive session, adhering to all protocols established by the organization.
This process marks a crucial milestone for the Paraguayan contingent, which will arrive at the regional event with 147 athletes competing across multiple disciplines. The “Team Paraguay” delegation also includes 49 mission officials and 20 team officials.
By completing this step, Paraguay continues to fine-tune logistical and administrative details, solidifying its participation in the Panama 2026 South American Youth Games. This competition, featuring athletes between the ages of 14 and 17, serves as a premier platform for youth sports development across the continent, with Panama serving as the host for a sporting celebration that promises to be #AnotherLevel
