The seeds of Brazilian sport, Lavozier Herminio Wadick and Clarisse Rocha Vallim, will be Brazil’s flag bearers at the IV South American Youth Games Panama 2026.
A talent born in the lands of Atalaia do Norte in the Amazonas region of Brazil, Lavozier Herminio Wadick Marubo is a Greco-Roman wrestling athlete whose main strengths are speed and technique. After long preparation, he arrives at Panama 2026 with the goal of winning the gold medal for Brazil.
At 17 years old, Lavozier Herminio Wadick is part of Brazil’s National Wrestling Team. He is the champion in the 65 kg category at the 2025 Youth Games, a silver medalist in the 55 kg category at the 2025 Pan American U-17 Championship, and his greatest dream is to win an Olympic medal for his country.

On a path of intense preparation, effort, and sacrifice, Clarisse Rocha Vallim continues weaving her dreams. This time, she will have her first experience at the Panama 2026 Youth Games with Team Brazil, where she will have the honor of fulfilling one of her dreams—representing Brazil as a flag bearer—and arrives with high expectations and energy at another level to reach the South American podium.
Clarisse, a pride of Rio de Janeiro, will compete in the -78 kg category. In her career, she has won a gold medal at the Cadet World Championship in the 70 kg category, is champion of the Carioca Championship (2022 and 2024), a two-time Pan American U-15 Champion (Lima 2023), a two-time Brazilian Champion (2024/25), a three-time national team champion, and CBI Trofeo Brasil Champion (2018/21), among many other achievements.

The Brazilian delegation includes 254 athletes and 77 officials, who will be present this Sunday, April 12, at the opening ceremony of the IV South American Youth Games Panama 2026 at 6:00 PM. During the ceremony, Lavozier Herminio Wadick and Clarisse Rocha Vallim will wave the Brazilian flag at the Juan Díaz Stadium.
