JSJ Panama 2026

Surfing officially kicked off at the IV South American Youth Games Panama 2026 with Playa Venao serving as the perfect venue for the sport that blends action and determination. With a sunny day and promising tides, the first heats of the [Shortboard, Bodyboard, and SUP Surf] categories hit the water, beginning one of the most anticipated stops on the circuit.

Here are the results of the main rounds after today’s opening day:

Men’s Shortboard

Advancing to Main Round 3: Romeo Chávez (COL) with 14.73, Thiago Passeri (ARG) with 13.33, Reimundo Berry (CHI) with 12.63, Yuri Gabryel (BRA) with 12.37, Roberto Camblor (URU) with 8.37, Pascual Llorens (CHI) with 10.76, Adrian de Osma (PER) with 9.46, and Mike Prada (VEN) with 7.67.

Advancing to Repechage 2: Ryan Martins (BRA), Bastian Arevalo (PER), Gabriel Cabrera (PAN), Víctor Camarena (PAN), Facundo Ruggiero (ARG), and Juan Lopez (ECU).

To Repechage 1: Sandro Rivera (ECU), Oscar Hernandez (COL) and Tomas Casafont (URU).

Women’s Shortboard
