Brazil secured the first victory in men’s futsal at the IV South American Youth Games Panama 2026, after defeating Argentina in the South American classic in a match full of goals and excitement.
The Brazilian national team displayed all its offensive power and delivered a commanding win. De Souza Kaua and Domingos Jhon both scored twice, while Saad Murillo stood out with a hat-trick. The scoring celebration was completed by Farias Caua and Martins Pietro, bringing Brazil’s total to nine goals.
Argentina, for its part, also managed to get on the scoresheet with goals from Suárez, Soñer, and Pesl, but it was not enough to stop Brazil’s dominance in the match.
With this result, Brazil starts its futsal campaign strongly, clearly showing its status as a favorite in a sport where it has historically been a leading force.
