The Argentine women’s futsal delegation secured a victory against Panama in the first match of the day at the IV South American Youth Games Panama 2026.
The home team started with intensity and, at times, managed to compete evenly against Argentina. However, the team led by Ailén Habarna managed to impose its style of play and make a difference at key moments of the match.
On the scoring side, Argentina took the lead with a brace from Carabajal, followed by a goal from Pérez and the final strike that sealed the match by Toffoletti.
With this result, Argentina begins its participation in the tournament on the right foot, while Panama leaves positive impressions despite not being able to maintain the pace against a solid opponent.
