
On a day marked by intense sun and physically demanding conditions, Brazilian athlete Rebeka Klotz was crowned champion of the Women’s SUP Race category, taking home the gold medal after a display of endurance and speed that placed her far ahead of her competitors.
From the start of the competition, Klotz set a fast pace. She crossed the finish line with an official time of 35:39.07, establishing a lead of nearly eight minutes over her closest rival.

The fight for the remaining medals was a true test under the relentless heat. Argentine athlete Delfina Rodríguez secured the silver medal with a time of 43:29.91, while Peruvian competitor Emilia Ezcurra completed the podium, taking bronze after finishing in 45:35.74

On the other hand, the harshness of the conditions was evident in the withdrawal of athlete Antonia Gutiérrez, who recorded a DNF (Did Not Finish) after being unable to complete the final course
