The Argentine women’s futsal team defeated Paraguay 4-1 at the High Performance Sports Center, in the preliminary stage of Group A of the IV South American Youth Games.
After going into halftime trailing due to a goal by Larissa Velázquez, the Argentine side reacted in the second half and turned the score around with a standout performance from Naira Ramírez, who scored twice. Carola Wilhelm and Victoria Cabrera completed the rout.
With this victory, Argentina earns key points in the tournament being held in Panama
