Athletics concluded its journey at the IV South American Youth Games Panama 2026

Under a scorching sun at the Rommel Fernández Stadium and the Luis “Matador” Tejada Hansell High Performance Center, high level competitions were held where each athlete gave their all on the track, with the dream and mindset of reaching the top of the podium at the IV South American Youth Games. Over fourteen days, more than 2,000 athletes were welcomed in Panama.

The nations that competed on the final day of Athletics, a discipline that requires a great deal of effort, preparation, and strong mentality, were Colombia, Brazil, Chile, Venezuela, Ecuador, Argentina, Guyana, Peru, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Bolivia.
