In an atmosphere of enthusiasm, commitment, and a forward-looking vision, the official press conference was held to announce the torch route for the IV South American Youth Games— a symbol of unity, effort, and sporting spirit that will mark the beginning of the journey toward this major continental celebration.

During the event, sports authorities and representatives of the organizing committee presented details of the torch’s which will travel through various emblematic locations across the country, bringing the message of the Games closer to communities, young athletes, and the general public, while promoting values such as friendship, inclusion, and teamwork.

The event featured the participation of Miguel Ordoñez, Director General of Pandeportes; Damaris Young, President of the Olympic Committee; Anamae Orillac, Director General of the Games; and Hector Bultrón, Coordinator of Cultural Experiences. They emphasized that the torch relay represents much more than a symbolic journey—it is an invitation to believe in the potential of South American youth and in sport as a driver of social transformation.
