With lots of energy, fully hyped, and as we await the start of the South American Youth Games Panama 2026, our mascot “Antón” continues his tour through schools across the country, bringing a very special message to classrooms focused on sustainability and the different sports in which more than 2,000 national and international athletes will take part on this Olympic cycle journey.

Antón’s tour began at Remón Canteras School, then moved on to Richard Neuman School, where he got all the students dancing and also delivered invitation letters for the competitions.
The journey was just beginning, and Antón headed to C.E.B.G. Ernesto T. Lefevre School, where he got everyone playing soccer and the sound of goals echoed all around. He then brought joy to Isabel Herrera Obaldía School. Antón also visited the students of IPT Juan Díaz, where he sat in class and even shared snacks with the younger kids.

Our little amphibian, who was born in the cloud forests of El Valle de Antón in Coclé province, filled the students of the Panamanian Chinese School with excitement, as they jumped to his rhythm. Antón is also ready to compete in athletics.

Antón’s joy-spreading tour also reached Colegio Javier, Instituto Atenea, José Dolores Moscote, IPT San Miguelito, and Colegio El Cantón. At Smart Academy Panamá AON, he practiced fencing; at Colegio Parroquial San Judas Tadeo, he tried karate. He also arrived at Colegio Episcopal San Cristóbal, where he danced to soca rhythms, and at Instituto Rubiano he was very popular and showed off his baseball skills.

With a strong commitment to educating through a message focused on biodiversity, health, and sports—because here in Panama we are on another level Antón doesn’t stop. This time he traveled to Colón province, where he visited Instituto América and Colón. At Fermín Naudeau, Antón played 3×3 basketball, one of the sports featured in the South American Youth Games.

With the mission of reaching the educational community, both in schools and universities, Antón visited Universidad Latina, USMA, UDELAS, and the University of Panama.
And the tour doesn’t end here soon our golden frog, Antón, will be visiting more schools across the country.
