Baseball is ready to make history at the South American Youth Games Panama 2026. For the first time, this discipline will be part of the continental event, bringing the excitement of the diamond AT ANOTHER LEVEL.

The iconic Juan Demóstenes Arosemena Olympic Stadium will host six teams fighting for gold: Panama, Curaçao, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, and Peru. With a competitive format, the teams will play a round-robin phase from April 20 to 24, where all will aim to finish among the top four and advance to the medal round.

The opening day on April 20 will feature Curaçao vs Argentina, Brazil vs Colombia, and Panama vs Peru. Action continues on April 21 with Curaçao vs Brazil, Peru vs Colombia, and Argentina vs Panama.

On April 22, the matchups will be Curaçao vs Peru, Argentina vs Brazil, and Panama vs Colombia. On April 23, Colombia will face Argentina, Peru will take on Brazil, and Curaçao will meet Panama. Finally, April 24 will close the regular phase with Curaçao vs Colombia, Argentina vs Peru, and Brazil vs Panama.

All games in this phase will be played at 8:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m., and 2:00 p.m. (Panama time), in an intense series of matchups that will test each team’s level.

At the end of the round-robin phase, the third- and fourth-place teams will compete for the bronze medal, while the top two teams will face off for gold. The teams finishing fifth and sixth will not advance to the medal round. It is important to note that the schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions.

April 25 will be the निर्णing day, with the medal games and the awards ceremony scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Baseball promises to be one of the main attractions of Panama 2026, ready to make its debut and be experienced AT ANOTHER LEVEL.
