Paraguay is ready to participate in the IV South American Youth Games Panama 2026, which will take place from April 12 to 25, 2026.
The “Guaraní” delegation, known as Team Paraguay, consists of more than 140 athletes who will compete across 20 disciplines. Tennis player Catalina Delmás Schaerer and footballer Jhosías Núñez have been designated as the flag bearers to carry the national flag during the opening ceremony.
Among the prominent disciplines, Paraguay will be represented in sports such as athletics, swimming, tennis, football (men’s and women’s), futsal, golf, judo, karate, taekwondo, and rowing, among others.
Team Paraguay has appointed Norma Fernández, president of the Paraguayan Hockey Association, as the Chef de Mission.
