JSJ Panama 2026

The Colombian spirit is already making its presence felt on Panamanian soil.

In a session defined by administrative precision, the Colombian delegation officially completed its Delegation Registration Meeting (DRM), securing its place in the great celebration of the Panama 2026 South American Youth Games.

The meeting took place at 2:00 p.m. at the heart of the event’s logistics: the Megapolis Hotel, currently serving as the South American Village. There, Colombian representatives fulfilled the organizing committee’s protocols, validating every detail regarding logistics, mobility, lodging, and accreditation so that the athletes can focus on only one thing: competing.

Colombia arrives in Panama with the following figures:

  • 180 Athletes: Promising young talents (between 14 and 17 years old) who will vie for the podium across various disciplines.
  • 1 Mission Official: Responsible for strategy and administrative support.
  • 72 Team Officials: The technical staff providing trackside support for the athletes.

With the registration finalized, the Colombian delegation has been given the green light to compete in the 2026 South American Youth Games. Panama, as the host nation, prepares to become the epicenter of the continent’s emerging talent in a story that is just beginning.
