The Panamanian Olympic Committee (COP) and the Crime Stoppers Foundation, regional office in Panama, signed a Memorandum of Understanding within the framework of the South American Youth Games Panama 2026, with the aim of strengthening safe sport policies during the event.
As part of this agreement, an anonymous reporting system will be enabled in both Spanish and English, available through the Crime Stoppers digital platform, allowing real-time reports throughout the duration of the games.
Additionally, both organizations will work together to promote reporting channels, develop informational content, and disseminate messages aimed at ensuring a safe environment for athletes, delegations, and attendees.
This alliance reaffirms the commitment of COP and Crime Stoppers to integrity, transparency, and protection within the sports environment.
