The Combat Center at the Irving Saladino Sports Complex in Juan Díaz, Panama, is already 90% complete with just four days remaining before the start of the South American Youth Games Panama 2026.
This sports venue will host the disciplines of Judo and Taekwondo.
These were the statements from Katy Samaniego, Venue Manager for Judo and Taekwondo:
“The progress at the Combat Center—where we will begin with Judo and then continue with Taekwondo—is about 90% complete. We only have minor details left before we can hand over the venue to the sports. The Judo tatami has already been installed, and the work team continues working to finalize all logistical aspects.”
The dimensions of the judo tatami are 14×19, and the Combat Center has a capacity of 300 people.
