The Uruguayan delegation arrived in Panama, having completed the necessary registration for the IV South American Youth Games Panama 2026.
After an intense day of administrative procedures, the Uruguayan delegation successfully completed its official registration during the Delegation Registration Meeting (DRM), the final major step before the start of the Games.
The South American Village was the venue for the official registration this morning at 11:00 a.m. (local time), at the Megapolis Hotel’s logistics center.
There, the Uruguayan heads of mission met with the organizers to finalize every detail of their participation, including registering the names of the athletes, heads of mission, and team officials, validating all transportation logistics, and confirming the availability of spaces and rooms in the South American Village for all official competitors.
With this approval from the organizing committee, the Uruguayan delegation registered 70 athletes, 7 mission leaders, and 24 team officials, for a total of 101 people on the Uruguayan team for this fourth edition of the Junior Youth Games Panama 2026.
Panama becomes a second home for the Uruguayan delegation, which, along with the other delegations, is ready to join the festivities Panama has prepared to make these games #OnAnotherLevel.
