A rising star in women’s judo born in Rio de Janeiro, coming from Flamengo where she started in the U-13 category, and who has conquered the tatami with her talent she is Clarisse Rocha Vallim. At just 15 years old, she is already the 2025 Cadet World Judo Champion in the 70kg category and is preparing to compete in the IV South American Youth Games Panama 2026.

The Brazilian judoka has also stood on the podium, winning gold at the Carioca Championship in 2022 and 2024, becoming a two-time Pan American U-15 Champion (Lima 2023), a two-time Brazilian Champion (2024/25), a three-time national team champion, and the CBI Trofeo Brasil Champion (2018/21), among other achievements.

His roots come from his hometown district of Riacho Grande in São Bernardo. He is Gabriel Fonseca de Oliveira, an athlete with extensive experience in this beautiful Korean martial art, Taekwondo, where he has been part of the Brazilian national team for four consecutive years—2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Fonseca de Oliveira was champion of the Super Campeonato Brasileirão in Santa Catarina in the Cadet -49kg category in 2022, and with that result became a two-time Brazilian champion. He was also champion of the Southeast Regional Cup in 2023, and his most recent achievement was a bronze medal at the 2025 U-21 Taekwondo Championship (held in Nairobi, Kenya) in the 58 kg category, becoming the first Brazilian medalist.

Clarisse Rocha Vallim, Gabriel Fonseca de Oliveira, and the entire Brazilian delegation will come to Panama with the dream of reaching the top of the South American podium, because this competition will be on another level.
