Day two of the IV South American Youth Games Panama 2026 in judo featured high-level matches held at the Irving Saladino Sports City.

In the men’s -66 kg category, Argentina’s Tiago Carvallo won the gold medal in the final, while the Brazilian competitor finished in second place, earning the silver medal. In this category, there were two bronze medals: the first went to Peru’s Yesus Perea, and the second to Ecuador’s Omar Campos.

In the women’s -52 kg category, Brazil’s Igaki Lavinia claimed the gold medal after winning the final, followed by Maia Panunzio, who earned the silver medal. The bronze medals went to Venezuela’s Maiylin Bolivar and Chile’s Ayinko Tolaza, completing the podium in this division.

In this regard, the discipline once again contributed to the medal table at Panama 2026, delivering outstanding performances from athletes of each delegation and confirming a high level in one of the most intense sports on the program.
