After the end of Day 2 of competition, the medal table of the IV South American Youth Games Panama 2026 was as follows.

On this day, Team Venezuela continues to lead the South American medal table after adding 5 more medals, including 2 gold, 1 silver, and 2 bronze, for a total of 11 medals. Brazil follows in second place, climbing three positions and moving closer to the top, after sweeping up 10 medals in different disciplines on Tuesday the 14th.

Argentina is in third place, reaching the South American podium after earning 3 medals.

The host city, Panama, won its first 2 gold medals thanks to freestyle wrestlers Yumaira Yamineth Russell Rodríguez in the 65 kg category and Aisha Williams in the 73 kg category, who with great character, strength, and focus in the match secured her gold medal.

In addition, Olympic athletes who previously brought Panama to the top at the Olympic Games boxer Atheyna Bylon and Alonzo Edward were present supporting sport at these IV South American Youth Games Panama 2026.
