On the morning of April 23, the badminton finals were held, where competitors from Peru, Paraguay, Brazil, Venezuela, and Colombia stood out on Court 1 of the ITSE Sports Center, in five finals that defined the South American podium.

The first match for the gold medal ended with the victory of Sofia Junco of Peru 2–1 over Sofia Rodas of Paraguay in the Women’s Singles category, winning in two sets with scores of 21–10 and 21–13. The Peruvian player showed clear superiority, earning the first gold medal of the day in badminton.
